Lahore Fort is located in Lahore City also known as Shahi Qila. This building was constructed in 17 century and become one of the best building during Mughal Empire. Alongside the Lahore Fort there are famous and beautiful Shalimar Garden. This Garden was built by Shah Jahan. After fall of Mughal Empire Lahore fort was used as the residence of Empire Ranjit Singh founder of Sikh Empire. The Fort then pass to British after the victory over sikhs as Battle of Gujarat in February 1841. In 1981 Lahore fort was listed in UNSECO World Heritage site. With the Fort Mughal king Aurangzeb built by Shahi Masjid in front of Lahore Fort from 1671 to 1673. This is an example of architecture and second largest mosque in Pakistan
