The province is changed, you have left Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw and entered the Gilgit Baltistan region. Your mobile networks will no longer stay with you unless you have purchased the local network of the region.
If you are visiting here in June or July and you are coming from Babusar Top by road, you are definitely wearing warm clothes, but as you travel further in Gilgit the temperature rises incredibly hot and you have to put that warm stuff off your body or you will seat badly.

If you chose the road to Gilgit city, it will further lead you to Khunjraab Pass that is Pak China border and an important trade passage from Pakistan to China.

3. Skardu

4. Kalaam/Sawat
Sawat district is located in the Province of Khyber pakhtoonkhaw. Kalaam valley, in the district of Sawat is at the elevation of 2000m from the sea level.
Sawat river flows through valley. Extraordinary stunning views include the lakes here. The largest lake of the entire valley is named as Mahudand Lake. The valley has many alpine glacial Lakes. At the distance of 19km from Kalaam, another scenic lake hypnotizes the visitors, called Kundol Lake.
The climate is humid subtropical here and the temperatures vary throughout the year.
5. Chitral
In the north of Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw there lies in the district of Chitral. The Chitral river flows by here and the district was administered as a capital of the princely state of Chitral till 1947.
If you plan to visit here, keep one thing in your mind that the road that leads here is one of the narrowest roads in the world. It makes the journey dangerous and thrilling. You will face instability and glacial encounters on your way to the city.
